Refund policy

Returns

Items are eligible for returns for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Items with obvious signs of use or any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error are not eligible for returns. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Accreditation fees
  • Some gear and impact reducers

We require a receipt or proof of purchase to complete your return. For assistance, please email us at Info@LNT.org. 

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm receipt. If the returned item(s) are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within a certain number of days. Please contact us at Info@LNT.org for assistance.

 

Exchanges 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at Info@LNT.org and send your item to: Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, 1000 North St, Boulder, CO 80304, United States.

 

Shipping Returns and Exchanges

To return your product, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for your own shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

EU Right of Withdrawal

If you are in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us at [email address] with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw. You may use the following model withdrawal form, though it is not obligatory:

"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale for the following goods: [order details], ordered on [date], received on [date]. Name:, Address:, Date:."

We will reimburse all payments you have made, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction.

Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to digital downloads once access has been granted, or to customized/personalized items.
